México y Filipinas

¿Vieron algunas similitudes entre los procesos revolucionarios de México y de Filipinas? Did you see any similarities between the revolutionary processes in Mexico and the Philippines?

Es una pena que el docu empieza con el Porfiriato y no explica la revolución contra España.
Tampoco hablan mucho de la guerra entre las clases sociales. En fin, cada trabajo tiene su interes, su punto de vista, y su método.  Es muy simplista ver un proceso revolucionario solo desde el punto de vista de las maquinaciones políticas internas y externas.  En vez de examinar las relaciones entre los grupos humanos y las fuerzas anteriores a la formación de un estado, por ejemplo, México. It is a pity that the docu begins with the Porfiriato and does not explain the revolution against Spain. Neither do they talk much about the war between the social classes. Claro, si examinaran el proceso histórico revolucionario de México, tendrían que aplicar (creo yo) una óptica global porque aquella revolución fue parte de la liberación de América Latina.  Y esas uniones, nunca son muy interesantes para el sistema. Of course, if they were to examine the revolutionary historical process in Mexico, they would (I think) have to apply a global perspective because that revolution was part of the liberation of Latin America.  And those unions are never very interesting for the system.
