Anna was born in Bacolod, Negros Occidental. She became a successful businesswoman in Spain, in the hospitality industry. Then during a visit to Bacolod with her aged father who told her that children's lives were being destroyed in the streets, as was their beloved land, and she decided to rescue a little boy. She had no money to rescue his 10-year-old sister. She later learned that she was killed by her kidnappers, and it moved her to rescue as many more children as she could, money or no money.
Anna nació en Bacolod, Negros Occidental. Hizo una carrera exitosa como mujer de negocios en España. Luego, durante una visita a Bacolod con su anciano padre, quien le dijo que las vidas de los niños estaban siendo destruidas en las calles, al igual que su amada tierra, rescató al primer niño en situación de riesgo. No tenía dinero para rescatar a su hermana de 10 años. Después supo que la mataron y su desesperación la impulsó a seguir rescatando a todos los niños que pudiese, sin importar que no tuviese los fondos.
