Bakit ang titulo ng Himala ay hindi "Walang Himala"? "Ang Santang Sinungaling"? "Ang Himalang Jueteng"?"Ang Santong Kahambugan"? Sapagkat ito ang nangyari sa
istorya:"lahat ito any walang katotohanan". Eh, pelikula lang iyon, para tuksuhin natin ang mga tao, gawin natin silang mas esceptiko, di maniwala sa kahit ano. At saka, kung si Nora Aunor ang artista, naku, siguradong malaki ang negosyo. At saka, si Imee Marcos ay tumulong pa, eh di napakaseksi ng proyecto. Eh di, ang Himala ay naging ang pinamamagaling na pelikulang pilipino sa buong istorya ng cinematograpiyang pilipino....pero ano ang mensahe? Sa wakas, ano ang sinasabi? Ito ang malungkot, ito ang medyo nakakalumbay...nakakabungang-araw.
¿Por qué el título de la peli no fue "El Milagro que No Era"? ¿El Milagro Fulero? ¿La Santita Chanta? Porque esto es lo que sucede en la trama: "todo esto es pura mentira". Pues oiga, es solo una peli, para provocar a la gente, voverla más escéptica, incapaz de creer en nada. Además, si tenemos a la Nora Aunor como actriz principal, chuta, de seguro que será exito rotundo, harto billete. Agrégale que la Imee Marcos ayudó con la filmación, bacán, qué proyecto más sexy. El Milagro es considerada ¡la mejor de la historia cinematográfica de Filipinas! Pero....¿cuál es su mensaje? Al fin y al cabo, ¿qué nos dice? Esta es la parte triste, que da pena...y escozor.
Why wasn't the film entitled "The Miracle....Not!" "The Fake Miracle"? "The Cheesy Girl Saint"? Because this is what happens in the plot: "it's all a pack of lies". Hey man, it's just a movie, to tease people, make them more sophisticated, skeptical, incapable of belief. Besides, if we have Nora Aunor as the star, shoot, it's money in the bank, can't lose. Add to that, Imee Marcos as the madrina of the film and --madre de Dios!--- what a sexy project. Himala is therefore considered the best movie ever made in the Philippines' cinematographic history. But...what's the message? In the final analysis, what does it tell us? This is the sad part, this is what's pathetic...and gives me a rash.
