OUTING TO THE MOUNTAINS JANUARY 2018

EL CAJÓN DEL  MAIPO, LA CORDILLERA DE LOS ANDES

                      IN MAIPO RIVER CANYON  /   THE ANDES

I am wearing hat and green T shirt, my daughter is pointing at something, and a young woman in a bikini seems to stand under the waterfall, but she is actually far in front of it.

One of the pools of the warm springs on the mountain slope.  This is the highest pool, so the water is super hot, we never go in there.

My daughter and her father walking back to the car.  You can see a road on the mountain, there is a river (el río Maipo) between that side of the mountain and the side where the car was parked.

It really is a majestic waterfall.  I am lousy at calculating distance, but it could be 800 mts from top to bottom.
