Filipinos are the most wonderful bunch of losers on the planet.
We are the biggest population of delightful, kind, funny, generous, decent, natural born artists, comedians, and the longest-suffering, deprived, targeted and brave pobrecitos since the Israelites absconded from Egypt... Maybe the blacks and the Haitians have had and still have it worse... But I can't help but wonder: when, when, when are we Filipinos going to come out of the closet, or the dungeon?
I really think we have to do it ourselves by showing what we have to be proud of, to the whole world.

Estoy absolutamente convencida (y mi convicción es un portaaviones blindado) de que LA HISTORIA FILIPINA ES LA MÁS FASCINANTE Y MARAVILLOSA QUE NUNCA SE HA CONTADO.
Los filipinos somos el grupo de perdedores más maravilloso del planeta.
Somos la mayor población de personas encantadoras, amables, divertidas, generosas y decentes, artistas y cómicos natos, y los pobrecitos más sufridos, desfavorecidos, perseguidos y valientes desde que los israelitas huyeron de Egipto... Quizá los negros y los haitianos lo hayan pasado y lo sigan pasando peor... Pero no puedo evitar preguntarme: ¿cuándo, cuándo, cuándo vamos a salir del armario, o de la mazmorra, los filipinos?
De verdad creo que tenemos que hacerlo nosotros mismos, mostrando al mundo entero aquello de lo que podemos estar orgullosos.
