Yes, that night I spent trying to get some sleep on a bench in a cold, garishly-lit waiting room in the train station of Orte, you have to remember I had just flown into Europe from Chile. It's 12 hours to Amsterdam. Then I don't remember how long a flight to Rome, then it was like 1 a.m. when I got stranded in Orte Station. I was zonked, jet lagged, stressed, and at 4am my guardian angel and I jumped on the first train back to Rome, and I did get some sleep on the train from Rome to Reggio Calabria. We did change trains somewhere and I remember being in a daze, my friend getting a man to carry my heavy piece of luggage. I don't remember much...I mean, talk about taking care of me. What a good guy. He could've robbed me, or whatever. Instead he took care of me. He was sent by Heaven, I have no doubt. It was too ridiculous. An Italian who had just arrived from NYC and was fluent in English _and_ Spanish too. Who also lost his train, got stranded in the same station as I. I remember I was crying and screaming on the platform when the last train back to Rome left me behind because no one told me which platform to run to and my bags were too heavy.... He calmed me down and then took charge of me. Practically became my babysitter!!!
Other amazing things have happened to me.
In 2000 I was renting an apartment in a small two-storey building right on a main artery in Santiago. It was very noisy, I was right on top of Avenida Las Condes. All day and all night I could hear the rubber of the tires rolling down the macadam, the buses barreling down the avenue. There were six apartments in that two-storey building and only one water bill came each month. So we took turns collecting the money from our co-renters. One day it came my turn and I went downstairs to collect from my neighbor who owned a business selling anti-theft alarms. I walked downstairs, went out the gate right on the avenue, and went into his yard which was a small parking lot. The door to his office was there and I knocked. Some seconds later the door opened and I stepped in. No sooner had I entered than I heard noises and tinkling sounds against the glass of the doors. I didn't know what it was. I talked to my neighbor and he gave me his part of the water bill, then I stepped out again.
Littering the ground, the sidewalk, were metal and glass fragments...I don't remember now how I knew that a bus had barrelled down the street and its sideview mirror had hit against the lampost made of cement, because the bus got too close to the sidewalk. The long metal sideview mirror exploded in a spray of metal shards and splintered glass, seconds after I stepped inside my neighbor's office.
Had I been delayed by just a few seconds I would have gotten hit in the head by the exploding fragments.
It made me feel like an invisible force had timed things just so I was saved from being blinded or taking pieces of shrapnel in my head, or neck.
I really and truly got the feeling I'd been delivered by invisible hands.
It has happened to me enough times to be convinced that I am being watched over.
The same goes for our planet. We have been saved from nuclear armageddon more times than we know. Just watch the videos of Dr. Helen Caldicott where she talks about the many times that the automatic detection system has been set off by flights of birds or the moon rising, or a weather satellite launched by a missile, but somehow Russia and the U.S. did not end up shooting their thousands of primed nuclear warheads at all their world targets.
We are being protected. There can be no doubt.
Thank You.
