I'm preparing a website, www.elizabethmedina.cl
It'll be bilingual (Spanish-English) and consist of three sections:
1. Translation/Interpreting
Will present my CV and profile to prospective clients, especially academics who require translation and/or editing of academic papers, articles, project presentations in English.
2. Writings
My essays, talks and short stories on Hispanic Filipino history, culture and identity. My book "Gringa in Latinoland", available in www.lulu.com. The PDF of "Sampaguitas en la Cordillera" / "Sampaguitas in the Andes". And excerpts from the second edition of "Rizal According to Retana: Portrait of a Hero and a Revolution."
This section will hopefully serve to provide information on Filipino history and culture to both English and Spanish readers who are unfamiliar with the Philippines' past which binds my country inescapably and wonderfully to the Hispanic world.
3. Energy therapy practice
My work as a Biomagnetism and Psychobioenergetics practitioner. I have also studied and practice Radiesthesia and Eric Pearl's Reconnection Healing. In this section I will share what I've learned about taking care of my balance and wellbeing, on the physical, emotional, intellectual, psychological and spiritual levels.
Each section will include a blog that visitors will be able to use to send me messages or exchange views and information.
