These beautiful pics were taken just before Kenshin and Anshin left for the airport, back to the States. They are constantly on the move. In Chile they did spend two very restful weeks in a GORGEOUS Buddhist Meditation and Spa Center run by Marta's good friends, Heidi and Hugo.Check out their gorgeous website -- www.miravalle.cl -- the couple in a loving pose is them. They have built everything there with their own hands, starting from when they bought the land some 13 years ago. It will give you an idea of what a sacred place Chile is.
Miravalle is just 2 hours out of Santiago. In that place everything is natural. Heidi is a real mover and has been bringing monks, swamis, spiritual masters mainly of Tibetan Buddhism to Chile for many years already.
Anshin visited Chile for the first time with his assistant, Wiebke Kenshin Andersen. He travels all over the world (assisted by Kenshin, his successor, for the past 5) to share his experience as a soldier in Vietnam, his suffering (he killed many, was unable to integrate back into society, was a drug addict, homeless), until he comprehended and overcame violence in himself and found his path to peace. Key in his transformation was meeting Thich Nhat Hanh and Bernie Glassman.
I had the privilege of treating Anshin and Kenshin with Biomagnetism. My sister-in-law Marta had invited me to her home to have lunch with them. The day before I had volunteered to be one of the interpreters at a one-day meditation workshop he led. I took the magnets just in case, and it turned out Kenshin was not feeling well, something in her stomach. After the treatment she was fine. Both of them very healthy (they're vegetarians), the magnets balanced their pH and produce a state of deep relax.
